She stood at the top of the hill as the wind blew against her. It was mid night already and the night had ended for some, but started for others. Her hair blew against the wind almost like trying to fight it. There was no use, the black velvet hair that reached out behind her when calm rested down near her knee's. A set of bangs reached down over the velvet eyes which decorated the sad face. That face which barely showed any emotion except sadness or emptiness. For someone who saw nothing but death and destruction there was no other expression to really share with this world. She was the hunter, the black wolf that walked the streets in search of her next target. Slowly, the black canine approached her from behind. It was that moment that the woman's height was visually very petite. She was dressed in a thick black leather cloak with a high collar.

As she walked down, the dog known to people only as Miko walked ahead. She was a female all black German Shepherd with a very fine figure and lean body, but to her she was more. Miko came to her as a gift, a special canine able to smell the tainted blood of a vampire. She also wasn't weak like normal dogs. It was almost like she herself was a vampire deep inside her heart. The speed, the thirst was also inside that animal. Which helped when your master was human. Yuki Misaki was a hunter from a long line of hunters in her time and blood. She had many notches on her belt already for various kills. She was only 19, but already people didn't whisper her name. She was Japanese and had flown in a few days ago into New York here in the states. It was a long way from her hunting grounds but this was a job that had a hefty price, so it was worth it.

Having moved into a condo which was easy to gain by shear draw of her last name. She had just gotten out and she had word that her target that went by the nickname of Kaze was near by the Opera House. As she entered the crowded city streets she walked smoothly through the crowd. She could tell already, which ones were human and which were of the dead. She began through the crowd and those who already knew of her signature, the yellow ribbon tied to a strand of her hair always at the side of her head, were moving out of her way. She wasn't needless, Yuki didn't just go out and start killing vampires that were vampires. No, unless she was ordered to do the job, Yuki didn't bother them as long as they didn't bother her. Eyes turned towards the petite female as she walked through the crowd trying to enter the Opera that night.

With the smell of mortal blood thick on the air, Kazeielan stepepd from the Rolls-Royce, scowling. Why, oh why, had he let Aloysius convince him to come here? He loathed opera- all in all, it was as disgusting as television. But, this one had sounded rather violent, so, he'd agreed to come. He ran a hand through his thick, blood-colored hair, raking it back from his unnatrually pale skin. This place was full of humans, and they shied from him out of a primal instinct so far engrained into their nature they didn't realize when they did it. Ah, but there were a few of the Dark Court here, and they all knew of him. His name- and his appearance- were infamous in their world. No other vampire dared dine on those of the Court.

But he was not as other vampires were. His heart still beat- albeit slowly- and, if he had the desire, he could bear children. A bullet would wound him, as would any other weapon, but his reflexes were fast enough that it didn't happen often. He had feirce eyes, of course. And Kazeielan's taste for blood was well known. Mortal or immortal, he could make any his meal.

A hand rested on the shoulder of Kazeielan's black suit, and his friend- only friend- gave him the most gentle smile. With his oddly colored eyes, Aloysius seemed to see the torment that the crowd put him through. "Forgive me, Kaze. But you know I hate to see the Opera alone." His voice was deep, but not as deep as Kaze's, and Aloysius had a thick German accent.

Kazeielan shrugged, sending his cascading red hair down his shoulders and quite easily to his knees. "Quite alright," he gave him a smile as well, but Kazeielan's was lopsided and looked rather like a snarl, "I've been meaning to go hunting anyway. And you know how I <i>adore</i> rich blood."

Aloysius frowned, but he knew Kazeielan's nature was to kill. He patted him on the shoulder with his pianist's hands, and then turned toward the Opera house, Kazeielan following at a bit of a distance, his eyes searching the crowd for his next meal.

She stopped suddenly as the corner of her eye she caught the flare of the red hair suddenly through the crowd. Miko stopped as well, the special blood that ran through his body was easy to pick up in this crowd, because there was nothing like Kazeielan's blood anywhere in this world. With her ear's up Miko moved slowly alone which left Yuki to slowly back up into the shadows. She was trained for situations like this. Washing with odorless shampoo's and soaps. Using leather to hide her scent if she was to sweat and block the sound of her heart beat. This was what helped her sneak up on them. She wasn't fast like them, but her eyes were good and if she could get the surprise on them it was always better. Standing in the darkness, she finally got site of both of them. Her velvet eyes moving from Kazeielan and to his companion. Where they lovers? She wondered a bit and turned her attention to the man.

He was very tall like Kazeielan and his figure was strong and his face handsome. Yet, she didn't have much time to really look as suddenly the crowd moved again. Miko slowly approached and stopped as soon as she was in view of the two man. She sat down slowly in front of them, when she did the collar came to view. It bared the mark of the church. At the site, it was an instant message, the assassion, the Black Wolf has around and one of those two was the target of the hunter. Miko stared at them with those blue eyes of hers and seemed to almost smile at them as the crowd was moving. Suddenly, someone walked in front of the animal and as they passed, the creature was gone, missing from where she had been sitting.

Yuki could have done it through the crowd, but she didn't feel like dealing with a crowd. She stood where she was watching them, letting them wonder where it was she was hidden.

Kazeielan looked down at the dog, a thin, red eyebrow raised. Oh, he knew very well what it meant. He'd lost many a friend to the girl who this dog belonged to. Rage welled up in him, and his hand wandered to the weapon he kept in his pocket. Nonetheless, he knelt in front of the dog, his long fingers not hesatating for a moment when he ran his hand through the thick ruff of black. He had always been a lover of animals, and dogs in particular. He was an animal as much as they were. His hand gently touched the collar, and he smiled. Standing, he caught Aloysius by the sleeve and murmured in his ear.

"Why, my friend. It seems the Wolf has come for me," he chuckled. It wasn't Aloysius she was after, that man was human in all but his fangs. Oh, no. It was Kazeielan she must have come for, though killing him was a fruitless attempt. The guillotine had not done its job on him, and neither had various other implements of death and torture. Why should she be any different.

Nonetheless, a look of horror spread onto Aloysius's face. "Mien Gott, again?"

Kazeielan nodded. This family had been after his head for centuries. Wouldn't they have learned it was a vain quest? Still ,he smiled. "You go watch your Opera, my friend. I will deal with the girl."

"Girl?" Aloysius, dear Aloysius. Such a human heart! Kazeielan smiled sweetly.

"You've my word I'll be the sweetest gentleman." But there was something in his tone that hinted otherwise.

Aloysius shook his head, his pale blonde hair glittering. "I think not. I'm going with you." Kazeielan knew changing his mind was pointless, and he shrugged, patting the dog on the head once, then turning, a hand slipping into the fron of his suit and resting on the Les Baer Colt custom he kept there. Aloysius sighed, exasperated and annoyed that the Wolf had picked this night to show for Kazeielan's head. But, none the less, he followed. To where, though, he hadn't the foggiest.

RE:Hunting The Hunted
(Date Posted:12/29/2008 16:35 PM)

The canine was the one to lead the way. Her job was to bring her away from the busy crowd into a more suitable place. She had lead them to the back end of the near by Central Park. The light there was very dim and it was a isolated place. The animal walked over to a lamp post that had its light flickering on and off. Looking back towards the two as they approached they could hear the foot steps of something rather light and delicate moving in the darkness. The figure slowly stopped under the light next to the animal. She had changed her appearance for a reason, she was not expecting his lover to attend his death. She had attached the hood of the cloak in order to conceal her face and anything else about her which regarded her appearance. She wasn't prepared to reveal those details just yet.

"Oi...." She said suddenly in a very feminine voice as she was still as a statue. Not even the wind that blew seemed to dare disturb disturb her. Damn, looking at them both she realized, why the hell did she have to be so damn short? She muttered a bit under her breath and sighed a bit. Kaze was a special case, he wasn't able to simply just die even with his head taken off. Which was why she was hired to do the deed. Her blade, Orion was no ordinary blade. It was forged with the simple intent of destroying vampires. Like a vampire itself, it sucks the blood and very life out of its enemy. Leaving behind nothing more then ash, she never really used this blade because of the repercussion's are just as damaging towards her as the one she faces. "Brought your boyfriend...." She said low toned.

"Doesn't matter....." She said rather neutral and emotionless.

In the distance, they were being watched. Yes, there was a price on Kaze head but it wasn't just the Church who wanted the man dead. There were other outside sources who needed him dead and also needed his body. Which meant, they were not going to allow Yuki to get the job done at the end, but they would wait until the time was ready, slowly in the shadows where they were safe from being seen.

Kazeielan looked at the girl and a smile spread onto his face. She was so, so small! Why, he could break her in half with the slightest flick of his wrist. He had the gun out now, and it was glimmering wickedly in his hand, waiting for him to pull the trigger. But, in the darkness, he could hear the beating of hearts. Excited hearts. Ones that were waiting for him.

"Boyfriend?" he chuckled, the smile on his face rather vicious now. "Oh no, no, no, my dear girl. Aloysius has to gentle of a heart for my tastes." He cast a quick look at his friend, who gave him an almost offended glare back. "He hates bloodletting too much, you see. Even by your standards, the man would be considered a pacifist."

"Kazeielan," Aloysius hissed. Oh, he was a gentle man, and just as kind, yes, but he wouldn't stand by and let Kaze be overrun by these men. He had a gun in his hand as well- a simple Glock, in matte black. "That's enough."

Kaze smiled, and a laugh rumbled in his chest. "Enough? Why, my dear man, there is never enough fun!" By fun, he, of course, meant violence. He was a man whose taste for blood equalled- and greatly surpassed that of any man.

Aloysius shook his head. This wouldn't end well. He could see them in the darkness, his strange gift allowed him to see the vague aura of mortals, not too far away. There were enough to worry him, but not so many that Kazeielan couldn't handle himself. His skill in battle equalled his taste for it. Still, Aloysius didn't like this, not at all. He looked at the girl- indeed she was a girl, small and her voice was feminine- and was almost taken aback. She had the most beautiful aura he'd ever seen, and he wondered what was under that cloak.

Kazeielan pulled a small scalpel out of his bottomless black suit, and again, he smiled that manic smile. "Shall we begin, then?"

Yuki gave a chuckle. It was obvious to her he didn't mean that, between them. Miko had smelled the air and was able to smell the scent of others. Her way of notifying Yuki was simply by twitching her ear's many times. "I do so hate interruptions..." She said and reached a hand up. No sense in doing this with heavy weight of a cloak on her, it only slowed her down and dodging bullets as a human wasn't that easy of a task. As she flicked the button, the cloak seemed to loosen and she pushed it back and aside until it seemed to fall to the ground with a heavy thud, almost as if it had weights in it. The flow of her black hair moved silently behind her as those sad and distant velvet eyes looked at them. She had that yellow ribbon tied into place and poking out the side of her bangs. She was oddly enough dressed in a school uniform, but the bangs around her black and red jacket indicated Catholic Church.

Her jacket was loose against her feminine body as her white button down shirt's color stuck out neatly as it should. Her skirt short exposing the pale skin of her legs where a set of white leg warmer's seemed start at the knee's down to a black pair of shoes. For a moment, she seemed unarmed, and that wasn't possible. An assassin was never unarmed. As she stood silently, whomever was out there wanted to get rid of the competition, and I guess you can call this the best time to really impress anyone before you kill them. The sound of the trigger being pulled echoed as the bullet traveled through leaves and branches aimed directly between her eyes, but the sound of it recoshying off a metal surface suddenly followed behind it. Her hand had moved so quickly, reaching down and under her skirt to her thigh, when she raised it, a long silver chain had appeared extending from under her skirt as she pulled the head of what looked like a spear up and in front of her eyes.

The bullet had fluttered off the surface and went directly towards Kaze's head. She knew he wouldn't get hit, but it was that exact moment they decided to show themselves. There must have been at least a hundred of them, mercenaries for higher. "I would have expected more...least to make a dent." She said sarcastically. They weren't amused at all. "It should be enough to rid the competition and collect the price." One said and she hissed. "I won't let you kill them." She said as she leaned to the side in a sassy pose. "That's my job..." She said and it was that exact moment, all of them rushed in on the three.

Kazeielan sighed. He was going to get blood on his new suit. He shrugged out of his long coat and turned to Aloysius, who seemed to dumbstruck, his mismatched eyes locked on the girl.

"Aloysius, unless you want your head on a stake, I suggest you pay attention to something other than her," he hissed as he cleaved the skull of a man in two.

Aloysius blinked, then squeezed off a round, dropping another. "Right. . . " She was beautiful! And terribly distracting.

----

Kazeielan was slumped against a tree now, blood pooled around him. Pain was shooting from the knife in his stomach, as well as his broken ribs. The gun was clutched in his hand, resting on his chest, and his eyes were closed. Ah, what a fight. And yet, they had won. A hundred mercenaries, set to kill him, were dead. He coughed, leaning to the side, blood coming from his mouth. My. A ruptured lung, maybe. He'd never notice that; he hardly breathed as it was. Aloysius knelt beside him, a hand on Kazeielan's back.

"Come on. Let's get you on your feet," he said. Kazeielan groaned at the thought of standing, until he rememberd the girl. She wasn't dead, of course. Maybe not even injured. Kazeielan forced himeslf up, swaying slightly, a hand on the tree, his eyes open now, but only slightly.

Re:Hunting The Hunted

Looming over her cloak she stared down at it. This wasn't good. Not only did she have to defend two vampire's but she also had to defend against them. It was no joke, and due to the horrible complications Kazeielan was far to injured for even her to deal with. It wasn't in her likes to deal with someone who couldn't defend themselves against her blade. She had a few cuts and scratches. Unlike the others she didn't fight with bullets and guns. She used more traditional style of fighting. Yet, as she stared at the cloak, why could she muster the need to bend down and grab it. Miko seemed a bit on edge. She was circling around her, her fur sticking up as she did. Something was getting her nervous and Yuki was feeding off that nervous energy of her's. Right behind Kazeielan and Aloysius he came running out, a unknown vampire who's blood was filled with rage. His aura clearly showed it as he came from behind at her.

Almost like a dance she turned quickly and leaned back just as he seemed to fly over her with something glittering in his hand. There was no words at first between the two, as he slid to a stop and seemed to charge again. This time she leaped back and released her chain at him, stricking him in the neck but he kept coming at her. When he did, she leaped, this time over him and twisting the chain so it wrapped around his neck. He wasn't fighting well, he was blinded by something. An obvious vampire suddenly seemed mad with insanity. His fighting sloppy and his movements were slow. "This...is not normal..." It wasn't normal. The two man and even Miko could smell the tainted blood of this vampire wasn't like there own. Almost like it had been altered, changed for some reason. With madness in its eyes it charged for her again and this time she didn't deal with her chain.

Reaching behind herself she grabbed a hold of Orion and withdrew him from her back. The long blade instantly began to glow red as if it had been sitting in a fire for days. Black imprints appeared along the metal of the blade as she suddenly swung it into the creature's body. As soon as it struck, the smell of burning flesh filled the air slowly, the blade seemed to drain, anything fluid from its body and with a cry of pain from the mans lungs, it seemed to vanish until the blade seemed to echo the same cry, as if whatever that man had been was now inside the sword, trapped like a rat. It was a useful weapon, the kick back sucked. At first, it didn't seem like anything would happen as she placed the sword back into the hilt behind her. As soon as she let go of the blade it was like a thousand and one deep paper cuts exploded all over her body, causing her blood to spray.

She got down onto all fours and coughed blood onto the ground, trying to remain composed. So made not a single sound of pain, almost as if it was natural.

Her blood. . . Aloysius trembled at the scent of it. No. She was injured, and he was not Kazeielan. IT was the work of minutes to bring the Rolls-Royce to a park in front of them and help Kaze inside. Then, with a hand over his mose, he looked at the girl, then extended a hand to her as well.

"I promise, neither of us will hurt you." He was a gentle man, and that was very, very obvious. He wouldn't hurt her, not in a thousand years. Kazeielan, however, would have to be watched, and closely at that.

Raising her head a bit. She looked up. Her velvet eyes hallow of emotion and life as she blinked at him. She slapped his hand away as she slowly forced herself to stand. Probably not the best thing to do. She was shaking and swaying as she stood. Miko came over carrying her cloak in her mouth and made a whining sound. "I don't need...." She said in protest. It was obvious that her sentence would have continued, but still having a human body, meant only so much blood could be lost before it effected the mind. So as her eyes closed and the world around her turned black. She lost all her footing and soon never realized she was going to be crashing back down to the floor.

Miko made a sound, as she swiftly rushed over towards Yuki, she both concerned for her as well as Aloysius being very mindful of him. She was very well prepared to attack if he moved towards her in any manner in which she didn't like or saw as threatening.

Aloysius saw her falling, and- thankful his reactions were quick- he caught her in his arms. For a moment, just a moment, he stayed there, his arms around her chest, face buried in her hair, before he remembered himself and the scent of her blood almost overwhelmed him. Quickly and gently, he had her in the back of the car, chain, sword, cloak and all, and then he looked at the dog. With a sigh, knowing Kazeielan would certainly have his skin for letting an animal into his beloved car, he let the dog into the back seat with its mistress.

Sliding into the driver's seat, Aloysius cracked open the window. So much blood. . . The mansion wasn't far from here, luckily. Why luckily? She'd tried to kill Kazeielan. . . Aloysius knew it wouldn't have worked, even with that strange weapon of hers. Still. He ought to be angered, yes? This is what he pondered as he took her into the hospital wing of the house and dealt with her wounds. He hooked her to an IV and gave her a blood transfusion. Kazeielan was brought to his room and the knife was yanked out of his stomach. That was all Aloysius need do; immortality would heal the rest.

He sunk into a chair beside the fire, his own dog- a massive Norwegian Elk Hound by the name of Ahren- butted against his hand. Aloysius smiled and stroked the dog's massive skull, sipping at a glass of red wine, immersed in thought.

RE:Hunting The Hunted
(Date Posted:01/01/2009 15:25 PM)

Opening her eyes slowly she felt a bit flustered. Had she passed out again? Slowly sitting up she raised a hand and touched her forehead. It was then she felt the bandages on her skin and she looked at them She raised a brow and realized she wasn't in the park anymore. Where was she? She had to slowly play back the events that had transpired when she remembered. She was in the middle of a hunt, when there was an outside distraction. One of those vampires had wanted to help her but she had refused. Did he go agaisnt her wishes? She looked around and then noticed the warm ball of black fur that was sleeping soundly at her feet. Reaching out she touched it, causing Miko to suddenly raise her head in surprise and look behind her at her companion. With excitement, Miko hopped up and turned to face her and began to shower her with love by licking her. Yuki chuckled and scratched her head. "Thank you, I am fine...But your still a traitor..." She said and Miko dropped her ear's in defeat and pouted. Yuki smiled a bit and leaned in kissing the top of her head. "But I still love you." She said. With joy, she wagged her tail as Yuki slipped from the comforts of her resting spot.

She sighed and began to remove the bandages. "Wish people would listen to me..." She said. As she removed them, the blood stained bandages would reveal that there was no longer any cuts. The effects of using the blade was temporary and usually went away after a night of rest. As she placed the bandages in the trash she looked around. The place appeared big and rather rich. More so then her own personal tastes. She looked around and placed her jacket on as she slipped into her shoes. Her weapons were not in the room, somehow she wasn't surprised by that. Turning her attention then to the door as she buttoned her jacket and entered the hallway. The place was huge and rather impressive even. It had an old style taste to it, but didn't most homes that belonged to a vampire? Yuki walked slowly not making a single sound. Miko followed close at toe as he smelled around. Miko could smell the two somewhere in the building, but that wasn't what Yuki was looking for and unfortunate Miko wasn't able to smell Orion or the chain which Yuki kept close.

Suddenly, Miko realised she was alone and turned to see Yuki had stopped to look inside a room. As Yuki disappeared inside, Miko panicked and ran to her to see Yuki sitting herself down at a rather large and stunning piano. Miko walked over and laid down on her side as she looked at Yuki. Somehow, she was drawn to this thing. Like it was calling her, reminding her of times of old back home. Where she wasn't busy with hunting and killing. It reminded her of better times. As she uncovered the ivory keys she pressed softly against them, her fingers were small and delicate as slowly she began to play. For a moment, she had lost herself inside the sound it made, the music it had played. In her mind, she could see herself as a child in the old music room her father used to always play in. They used to laugh and sing childish songs as he teased her with music and sound. That was all before he became famous and had left over sea's to America. Where she was. She hadn't contacted him, she really hadn't forgiven him for leaving her behind with that horrible family of hers. The one's who made her the monster she was now.

Slowly, the music played a joyful to sad tune.

Aloysius's ears picked up the sound of the piano. It could have been Kazeielan, he knew that. that man was so damnably stubborn, it would have killed him by now if he were not immortal. But, with those wounds, it was too early yet for him to be up. The style wasn't as fast as Kazeielan's, and it didn't bear the constant, low- almost unnoticed- sadistic tones that Kazeielan's music did. The girl, it had to be. He ruffled Ahren's fur and placed a light kiss on the dog's head- which earned him a lick the length of his face. Aloysius took a final sip of his wine and stood, his beast of  a dog close on his heels.

He'd spent much time at the same place as she was now, and he'd seen Kazeielan play thousands of times. But Aloysius had never seen it with the aura that this girl possessed. It crackled like fire as she played, and Aloysius knew that she'd loved this instrument for years. He leaned against the door frame, glass of wine still in hand, and he watched her like a hawk until Ahren came.

The dog bounded into the room, his thick tail wagging and his massive paws making scraping sounds on the white marble floor. Aloysius frowned when the dog started barking- at Miko, of course. There were always strange people here, and he was quite used to it. "Ahren, zu schweigen!" he said, his voice low and quite commanding. The dog froze, mid-bark and walked to his side, curling up at his feet. Aloysius looked at the girl again. "Forgive me for Ahren's behavior. He's usually quite the gentleman," a tiny smile curled up Aloysius's lip, "Please, continue. You're quite good."

As soon as the dog barked at Miko, she was startled. Only Yuki seemed to make that animal daze so badly that the world around her seemed to vanish so suddenly. So, Miko had dropped her guard and as the large beast came storming in, Miko felt the fur on her back suddenly stand on end and stood suddenly and turned in a violent manner. Her ear's dropped back and her fangs showed as there white surface glittered against the light in the room. She was in instant defense as her eyes seemed to shift around the colors of yellow and blue, like a swirl of magic. Yet, her body relaxed when a warm familiar hand had reached out and brushed the fur on her back flat. Miko popped her ear's up and looked behind her at Yuki who was still sitting there at the piano and looked at her with soft kind eyes. Miko looked once more at Ahren and snorted towards him before tossing her tail up in a snooty manner and padding over to Yuki's feet and sat herself down, before laying down with a loud thud. Yuki then raised her head and looked at him with neutral and distant eyes. She didn't share that same warm and emotional expression with him as she had with Miko. "German....Fluent I take it." She said and nodded a bit. "Explains the height." She said and then turned her attention back to the keys in front of her.

"A canine resembles his master a hundred times over. Which is why I was not surprised by his actions seeing that his master went against my wishes." She said rather coldly as she was referring to when she stated she didn't need help, but he gave it to her anyway. She brushed her finger's against the keys again. "But, now I am in debt. Will playing clear me of it or is there another request for payment?" She said lightly toned as she turned her head and looked at him again. His features were unique and handsome. She didn't know if he was using some sort of vampire trick in order to give himself a handsome appearance. She had met many who did this in order to enchant a humans eyes into seeing something which was not there. She couldn't help the feeling that he wasn't playing games with her and he was just naturally handsome and rather breath taking at that.

“Yes, quite fluent,” he said, “much better than my English, I’m afraid.” Aloysius spoke perfect English, but it was in his nature to be a perfectionist and, to him, it had much room for improvement. He was watching her closely, his head turned slightly to the right so her strange aura was dominating his vision. It was his silver eye that let him see this; his left was a rich emerald and was no different than any vampire’s.

He smiled gently, and even on his chiseled, aquiline face, it was a soft expression. He was quite the opposite of his friend Kazeielan- it was evident in ever aspect of their nature. “I’m afraid your assumption Ahren and I is quite mistaken,” he said, and there was the lightest chuckle in his voice, “He is a rather loud and boisterous animal. I am not.” Aloysius’s manner of speaking made that quite clear. His voice was very, very gentle, and so low that it was at the very edge of hearing. She was quite cold with him, and he could only barely understand why. But, being a friend of a man such as Kaze gave him the ability not to question such things. Often, the red-haired devil seemed angered or sad for no reason at all.

“I do apologize for doing the exact opposite of what you asked,” he said, his pale eyebrows pulling together in something very like a frown. “But it goes against my nature to leave a young woman hurt, and especially as badly as you were.”  Aloysius was the soul of gentleman, and that made him almost awkward.  “If you like, I can drive you back into the city. You seem quite healed now. . .” His long, pale fingers stroked his jaw in a thoughtful sort of way, his strange eyes still fixed on her. “As for payment, I need none. I would ask you to quite hunting Kazeielan, but I know for a fact that he relishes in the sport. . .” Aloysius shook his head at the thought of Kazeielan, and as hunted as he has always been. “But I will warn you. He has killed everyone who’s come up against him. Human or otherwise.”  His hand dropped to the pocket of his pale grey suit, and there it stayed.

She slowly lowered the cover of the piano keys down and stood up. Adjusting the shirt under her jacket she moved fluidly towards him but stopped a few feet from him. Miko scampered a bit to be at Yuki's heel's and stopped as well with her tail wagging about. Every now and then she would steal a glance of Aloysius or Ahren before looking back to her master. As she released her cuffs she lowered her hands to her side. "Unfortunately, I can not cancel contracts. I simply go out and collect what is due." She said and raised a hand and ran it through her hair, it was at this time she noticed her yellow ribbon was missing and her expression suddenly changed to shock. "Ah..." She said and blinked rapidly as she looked around herself and behind, before turning to look at him. Her eyes opened wide as she finally seemed to look more human then a emotionless doll. "My ribbon! Did you bring it with you?" She asked him with shock in her voice.

To loose something dear to her was troublesome...

Aloysius smoothly pulled the long, yellow ribbon from his pocket, letting it dangle in front of her. "It fell out when I was bandaging your wounds," he said. He thought it strange how she could be so desperate for something like a yellow ribbon, but, mayb, it was something a loved one gave her. Significant other, maybe? He forced the thought from his mind. Assassins rarely had anyone close to them, he'd learned that from Kazeielan's and the man's co-workers, who often spent a while at the Estate. "Forgive me for not thinking of it earlier." She was quite distracting, this girl with the strange aura. He realized, then, that he had never properly introduced himself.

Bowing deeply, Aloysius showed again that he was the embodiment of the word "gentleman." Out of reflex more than anything, he'd raised her hand to within an inch of his lips, as he was taught when he spent time in France. "My name is Aloysius Kriegmeister."

Yuki took the ribbon back to him and twisted it around her finger's. As if she was examining it for something. A smile touched her lips as she flushed a bit at the site of it. It did mean something important to her and it had come from someone very dear to her heart. She turned her attention to Aloysius as suddenly he had taken her hand and did the gentleman introduction of himself. She raised a brow. "Aloysius....Your friend was right...Your more gentleman then anything." She said. She had not been rude and did not simply withdraw her hand from him with some sort of sense of disgust. In fact, she seemed rather comfortable around vampire's and most likely it could be because she was a hunter of them, could be but that was still tossed into the air. Yuki decided that the best thing to do in return was show the same polite manner and introduce herself as well. She withdrew her hand slowly and with the ribbon still in her other hand she grabbed the corner's of her skirt and fanned them out a bit as she bent her head forward, crossed on leg behind the other onto its toe and then bent her knee's a bit. A ladies curtsie, it was usually called. "I am known to few as Yuki Misaki, and as Black Wolf by many." She said to him.

As she straightened out she reached down to a waiting head at her hip and stroked the top of Miko's head. "This is my companion and partner Miko." She said. The animal looked up at Yuki and quickly snuck a lick upon the girls hand before looking back at Aloysius and then Ahren. When Miko got a full view of the other dog she moved a bit more behind Yuki and snorted towards him in defense.

Aloysius hadn't expected her to curtsy, that was definite. Most often, people looked at him as though he was a madman, and women usually blushed. She did neither. His curiosity was piqued now, and he was looking at her more intently than ever. Not intently as one would think from any sort of man who had a physical desire for her, no. It was more of an intense curiosity, a sort of marvelling. "Yuki," he said quietly, her name rolling smoothly off his tongue, as if it was meant to be said by him.

And then he moved his eyes to the dog. "And Miko." He smiled a little, an obvious lover of dogs. "She needn't worry about Ahren. He will be on his best behavior." He looked at the dog with a raised eyebrow and murmured, "Verhalten am besten." Ahren raised his massive head and looked over at Miko, his massive tail beating out a pattern of joy on the marble floor.

Yuki nodded her head. "My apologizes...but Miko has always been defensive around other animals...She isn't completely natural." She said without giving much detail to it. Miko watched as Ahren wagged his tail heavily against the ground, which in turn brought out a natural reaction from her as she raised her tail as well and began to wag it slowly at a mid level with her back. Yuki then reached up and grabbed a peice of hair from the side of her face before slowly braiding the ribbon back into her hair as it had been before. Once she had been done, her eyes shifted and looked at Aloysius as she sighed a bit. "I shouldn't occupy your company anymore. I am sure your friend will wake soon and I doubt he will be pleased with my pressense here." She said calmly as she spread her finger's out against the fabric of her jacket down to her skirt. "Its bad enough there is..." She stopped suddenly as the soft hum of something vibrating in her pocket was heard. She blinked her eyes and reached in, pulling out a rather feminine pink cell phone. Opening it, she spoke in. "Hai?" She said smoothly.

She didn't move and was very still until she nodded her head softly. "Arigato Sempi..." She said and hung the phone up. "Your friend is in luck. I am no longer one of the one's hunting him." She said and slipped the phone into her pocket. "So it seem's, the target has changed." She said and tilted her head a bit to him. "Hmm..." She said thinking a bit. "You seem to be familiar with Opera's. Where would I find the Centradale Dome, where Phantom Of The Opera is playing today." She asked him and crossed her arms leaning to the side a bit. "Oh...And I will be needing my weapons." She said to him.

Aloysius smiled slightly, rather pleased his friend was no longer hunted. Well, of course he was still hunted. But he wasn't hunted by her. "I don't mind your company," he chuckled a little, deep in his throat. "It's much less. . . Ah," for a moment, he failed to find a word, "dark, thank Kazeielan's." He spoke of auras as nonchalantly as one would the weather. With Aloysius, a person's aura greatly affected his mood. Yuki's made him very near giddy.

"I'm afraid giving you direction wouldn't be any good. Kazeielan's hid his Estate quite well. . . " he twisted a lock of his almost-white hair around three of his fingers thoughtfully, "I can drive you, if you like." He opened a closet nearbly and pulled the sword and chain out, holding them as expertly as one who'd done so with many weapons many times would.

She sucked in some air. She usually wouldn't allow it, but she couldn't really find any room to argue at this moment. She looked herself over, she couldn't go in this outfit. She was going to have to change and that was for sure. She nodded her head a bit and slipped a peice of paper out of her pocket and handed it to him. "I need to go here first." She said and tugged at the end of her jacket. "I need something more suitable for the Opera then this." She said took her weapons from him. Modesty wasn't quite her strong point, as she hiked her skirt up on one leg as she wrapped the strap around her thigh before lowering her skirt again. The sword was simple enough, it simply sat up against her back, almost like it was magnetic to her. As she moved her hair so it covered the weapon, once again, it looked as if she didn't have any weapons on her.

Velvet eyes looked up to him. "I will follow." She said in a calm voice.

Aloysius froze when she pulled up her skirt. He was a rather old vampire, and he was used to a time when women wore very, very long skirts, and when showing an ankle was considered scandalous. But he pulled his eyes away, his desire to be a gentleman stronger than the thoughts in his head. Once her skirt was down, he let his eyes move back to her, and he watched her hide the sword. She was very, very skillful.

Aloysius nodded, then turned, leading the way through the massive, lavish Estate. He paused for a moment and wrote something in German in a spidery, elegant script, and stuck it to the fridge with a magnet. Kazeielan would probably be up soon. He fed Ahren, and then waved for Yuki to follow him out to the garage. He flipped on a bank of lights, revealing at least sixteen very expensive cars. He stopped in front of a black Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe, then unlocked and opened toe door for Yuki, bowing.

Yuki blinked a moment at him. "You need to relax a bit...Your coming across more as a butler..." She said with an amused tone, but her facial expression didn't reflex it. She slipped into the vehicle and secured her seat belt. Miko followed as well after being in, she sat comfortably and ensured that her paws wouldn't damage anything. As the door was closed and the vehicle started, Yuki looked out her window. Watching as the surroundings around her change. The address would bring them back into the city and to a rather common looking hotel. It wasn't overly expensive but it also wasn't cheap either. With its red carpet entrance and doorman waiting. He came out as he pulled up and the doorman opened her door as another went around to open the door for Aloysius as well. Miko hopped out and shaked herself out on the carpet. She had restrained herself so as not to get fur on the inside of his car. As soon as she was done she followed Yuki inside the lobby. It reminded her of an old time hotel, with its wood designs and funiture. It was traditional and not as flashy unless you excluded the large fountain in the lobby surrounded by couches.

Yuki turned a moment and looked at Aloysius. "Please wait here with Miko." She said to him and soon vanished inside an elevator. A few people were whispering and as he was a vampire he could hear there words. They called her odd, with an appearance of a child but so emotionless. They mocked her for the hours she was out and for her real age. It was all pitiful things that didn't quite suit the humans mouths but then again, they were like this. Least an hour had passed before there was any sign of her again. Suddenly the whisperes changed to shock as Yuki came out of the elevator prepared for the Opera. She wasn't dressed like a school girl anymore, Yuki was now dressed not as a child but a woman.

The color of her dress was black from the top, and as it moved down her figure it seemed to change colors to red. The dress had no back, leaving her flesh exposed right down to the dip in her back, just where her rear would begin is where her dress started. The front of the dress wrapped around her neck by a single diamond strap and just above her breasts the straps met with fabric which was loose, dipping down enough to cover her chest, but there fullness caused the tear drop opening in the front to open, exposing thier curves and her belly button. The dress along the sides was cut, so that when she walked her legs and thighs were exposed to her pale skin against the dark fabric. She was wearing open strapped shoes with straps that wrapped around her ankles. The dressed dragged a bit on the floor but it seemed to be the style as she moved and the dress glittered.

Her hair was up in a pony tail, her bangs tossed into the a one sided direction. The long hair that had been up was now curled and tossed loosely around her her figure, the curls were tight which made the hair seem so short so as to not block her back from view. Her make-up was light and delicate.

It made someone wonder, where was her weapons hidden?

She looked at Miko and stroked her head as she was wearing black gloves up to her elbows. "Miko, you know what to do..." She said softly and with that, Miko bolted out the door and was gone from site. She looked at Aloysius. "I apologize for the wait...Ready?" She asked him soft toned.

Aloysius nodded and sat down on a bench, his back straight as a board and one leg thrown almost daintily over the other. He heard quite clearly what they said about her, and it lit a fire in his heart that he didn't know could exist. That little bout of anger seemed something more like Kazeielan the Violent than Aloysius the Pacifist. Still. They were terribly rude. Kazeielan would have a heyday. His eyes were half-closed, and he was meditating to calm himself, when she returned. His silver and emerald eyes widened just a little, and he murmured under his breath, "Mein Gott. . " She looked. . . stunning. If ever there was a time he was having ungentlemanly thoughts, it was now. As he felt heat creep up on his face, his cut the thoughts off. That simply wouldn't do. He stood gracefully, his eyes never leaving her. Eepecially her face. . So gentle, and yet, in a way, more cold than Kazeielan's.

"Quite alright," he said, smiling ever so slightly. "And yes, I am." He pulled on his wool coat and raked a hand through his hair, pulling it over his left shoulder. Aloysius turned and walked out the door, holding it open for her. Then, he brought her to the opera house, opening the door for her again. When she stepped out is when he lost control of himself. In that split second that she was standing in front of him, almost touching him, Aloysius slid one of his long hands around her jaw, tilted hre face up toward him, and kissed her.

RE:Hunting The Hunted
(Date Posted:01/08/2009 01:19 AM)

At that sudden kiss, Yuki felt every wall she ever built up crumble down. She could feel the swirl of her mind completely sucker punch her right in the gut. It seriously took her a moment to realize what was going on before he reached up and in placing her hands against his strong chest, she pushed him back and away, so that he would release her face from his hand. Her eyes were shot open as wide as they could go as she looked at him. One hand was raised as the back of it was barely brushing against her lips. Her face was already red right down to her neck and shoulders. Against her pale skin it looked rather amusing for other's to see. She was staring right at him and her expression was complete shock. "Why..." She said right away not able to complete her sentence. It was obvious this wasn't something she was used to. Yuki never lost her composure and she never really let her guard down, but his movement wasn't an attack so she didn't spot the sudden new body language as something threatening. Worse of all, she wasn't sure to someone stealing something from her. Suddenly, her eyes looked a bit watered as at the ends, the droplets of what appeared to be tear's was obviously forming. "You idiot!" Not quite the expression someone wanted to hear after they just kissed someone.

"Why did you have to go...and steal my first kiss..." She said suddenly lowering her hand and clinching her fists as she bit her lower lip out of frustration before using a hand to flicking away those useless tear’s. “Damn it...” She said in a frustrated tone as she suddenly turned her back to him and began walking off. She wobbled from side to side as it was instantly apparent that her composure was broke. In all seriousness she shouldn’t be on a hunt in this manner, but Yuki was Yuki. She couldn’t turn a job down unless she seriously had to and it had to be a good excuse. Yuki raised her hand again and touched her lips. She was still blushing as ever and wasn’t even paying attention to her surroundings completely. She stopped suddenly as someone bumped into her and reached a hand out to steady her by her shoulders. A complete stranger, she was so dazed she didn’t even realize he was a vampire because he wasn’t her target. “Milady…I apologize…Did I harm you?” He said kindly. If Aloysius had been watching, he would have noticed that, that sudden bump wasn’t by accident by any means. Yuki swallowed a bit trying to get her head back into the game. It was coming slower then she thought.

This caused her to suddenly appear nervous and a bit foolish as she touched her already red cheek with a hand. “Ah…I am sorry…No I am not hurt…” She said and he smiled. He was obviously trying to use some sort of glamour power against her to seduce her. Didn’t he know who she was? That was fine, thanks to the kiss she didn’t know who she was either! “Shall I be as kind to escort someone as beautiful and dainty as you inside?” He offered. She suddenly looked like lost little red riding hood in front of the big bad wolf.

Aloysius looked away from her, his strong cheekbones also bright red. He watched her walk away, cursing himself again and again. Why, he could even hear Kazeielan chastising him now! Her first kiss. . . Someone as beautiful as her had never been kissed? He found that in and of itself astounding. "I-I'm sorry," he murmured, though he knew it would be useless. She couldn't hear him now, anyway.

He saw the vampire walk to her- he camoflauged himself well, but to Aloysius's gift, even the most skilled would find themselves discovered. With a glare and a snarl, Aloysius slammed the door of his car, locking it. And then he was behind her, just off to the side. He knew this vampire, and knew him well.

"Nein, Rico," he growled. Aloysius was a beautiful creature, sure. But there was something in his eyes that glittered with anger and hatered, and he cut a terrifying figure when he wanted. He took a smooth step around Yuki, one of his powerful arms gently pushing her behind him. "And you won't be glamouring her, either." His silver eye glittered viciously. "Leave, before I set Kazeielan on your hide." A slim black cell phone was in his hand by means of threat. In the vampire world, Kazeielan was a well-known name, as was the fact they were friends.

Rico grinned and twirled a hand around in his direction. "Now, Now...No need to be hasty...I didn't know this one belonged to you." He said with a mused tone before turning his attention to Yuki once more and smiled. "I will be sure to see you again, my petite." He said with a soft chuckle seeing it get a flare out of Aloysius. Yuki didn't know what was going on, who Rico was and why the hell Aloysius was still here. She did know that her head was still spinning and that little glamour show that Rico had put on made her see star's.

Raising a small hand she grabbed onto the closest thing she could find, which ended up being the back of Aloysius jacket as she used her other hand to rub her eyes. "Pfft..." She said trying to see clearly. It didn't that she couldn't think clearly either. Once she got her site back she looked up just as Aloysius seemed to be looking back at her. Yuki's cheeks seemed to turn red instantly as she released his jacket and took a step back from him. What the? Why was he here still? Hadn't he been leaving?

She felt her head floating as she raised her hands again to hold her head a bit. "Damn it...I can't think now...." She said sounding rather peeved. "Its all because of you..." She said referring to Aloysius. "You better take responsibility.." She said in a un-amused tone. "Here is the tickets..." Why did she have a second ticket? "I can't see yet..." She said.

Aloysius gave Rico a final snarl as the man left, then his muscles tensed. Yuki had touched him, and it sent fire through his skin. She was so warm. . . So human. . . His bloodlust was cut off there, but he was still caught up in staring at her. And then he sighed, gently taking the tickets from her hand.

"It isn't my fault he tried to glamour you," he said, the ferocity in his voice gone now. It was obvious that he did feel bad for what he'd done- he understood, vaguely, what a first kiss was to a girl. And with a monster like him? Aloysius felt the self-disgust creeping up his spine. "As for my actions," he said, leading her into the opera house, his voice very quiet, "they were inexcuseable. . . I am truly very, very sorry."

Why he was so sorry, he didn't know. Yes, it was ungentlemanly. But he wouldn't have felt so bad with a different girl, would he? Maybe. . Aloysius's head was in a fog, and he didn't like the feeling. He cast his eyes over the tickets and lead her to the seats, waiting for her to sit down. It seemed that his pale-grey clad shoulders were more sloped than they had been before- even when he was facing Rico. Then, they had been squared in noble defiance. Now, he felt truly terrible for stealing a kiss from her.

His long fingers wandered to his lips, lingering there. She'd tasted of fire, and the sparks were still lingering. So, so warm. . . Aloysius would have liked to kiss her again, and maybe she could see it in the sparkle behind the deep regret in his eyes. But he wouldn't mention it, not now, not ever. After all, he had to be a gentleman.

Yuki sat down keeping her silence. Turning her gave over and looking at him a bit. She was studying him with her gaze and even as the show seemed to begin. She didn't stop looking at him. Her eyes were taking in his features as the shadows of the stage dance against his face. They were in a booth and right behind him she could see her target entering the booth. The target wasn't your typical vampire. He loved to take the possessions of others. He was a jealous fend and usually raped and killed what he had caught. Which was why they changed the bounty over to him. He was a threat that neither side really wanted alive. She had that second ticket with the intent of bringing someone to help her, in the end it was going to have to be Aloysius. His name was Titus, as his cold blue eyes turned towards Aloysius and Yuki, she went into action mode.

Yuki stood up suddenly and moved, so she surprised him and sat across his lap and crossed her legs. This was on purpose so that the slit of the dress would expose skin, to keep eyes lingering as they should. She knew Titus would be able to hear her if she whispered so she tilted her head so her bangs fell a bit and covered her mouth. When her lips moved no sound came from them. 'Play along...were supposed to be lovers.' She basically said and placed her hands on his cheeks and leaned forward as she placed her lips once again against his own. On hand held his cheek softly as the other reached out and wrapped delicately around his neck.

Would he play along? And if so, how well would he play?
